Thursday 31 May 2012 at 20:56

Hi everybody!

We have made two small update to Diablo III installers
 • Problem that made the system freeze on ATI card after login should be fixed!
 • Installer support DVD-ROM version
If you don't want to reinstall Diablo III to fix the problem, please set wine 1.5.5-DiabloIII_v2 to Diablo III's virtual drive

Ubuntu 12.04 users who are not able to connect (error 3007) still have to run the following command before playing
echo 0|sudo tee /proc/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope
Bringing ScummVM support to PlayOnLinux and PlayOnMac

Tuesday 29 May 2012 at 19:22

Hi everybody!

After wine and DOSBox, PlayOnLinux now support natively ScummVM based games! You don't have anything to download or to install to take advantage of this new feature, PlayOnLinux and PlayOnMac will do everything for you :-)

For the moment, three games are supported thanks to petchema
More game should be supported quickly, including Gobliins 3, Indiana Jones and the Fates of Atlantis, and maybe many GOG.com games

A big thank to ScummVM.org team for this hard work

PlayOnLinux 4.1 is available

Saturday 19 May 2012 at 23:09

To finish the week, we're happy to announce you PlayOnLinux and PlayOnMac 4.1 release.

Here is a short summary of the changes

PlayOnLinux can open documents, and manage extensions

Many of you asked this feature, now it's done! PlayOnLinux can open your documents, for example you can associate .doc files with Office 2010

How does it work?
 1. Tells PlayOnLinux/PlayOnMac that you want to open .docx files (for example) with Microsoft Word 2010 (These settings can be found in option menu). This step can be automatically done when you install programs with PlayOnLinux.
 2. Open your .docx file with PlayOnLinux/PlayOnMac
 3. Voilà
