I'm trying to install Halflife from original CD, but when setup.exe reaches 99% it just hangs and eventually causes a simulated reboot.
I can however install Halflife through Wine, and it goes happily through the entire install. Thats ok except I'd prefer to stick with play on Linux - not wine.
any ideas?

I'm running PClinuxOS (fully updated) KDE desktop.
Wine version 0.9.58
PlayonLinux 2.3 (this is the latest version in PCLinuxOS repo) - see my other thread about updating to latest
