Hi!
I installed Freelancer yesterday, but as soon as I start the new game it just crashes. Changing options and all the menus work though.
I ran it in the debugger and I'm quite confused about the error message:
Console: PlayOnLinux: ~/.PlayOnLinux > ./configurations/installed/Freelancer
XIO: fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server ":0.0"
after 73 requests (73 known processed) with 27 events remaining.What's wrong here? |

Oh well, seems that I got lucky and found PART OF the solution.
I disabled xcompmgr and it doesn't crash anymore.
But ONLY when I run it from the debugger like in the OP. When I start it via the POL interface it still crashes.
WTF?

Okay, the crashes on starting a new game are completely random.
Shutting off xcompmgr and 3D sound helped though.
Anyone got experience with FLMM and FLServer?
