I am PRETTY SURE I have identified the issue. It is related to the bug report I linked in the grand parent post. More technical details: vexfloss.blogspot.com/2012/10/not-your-usual-banned-from-diablo-3-for.html . The key question imho that must be asked is "Did you have to wait for long time when logging out / closing the game?". I know for a fact that warden was having issues that made it close. In that regards, if warden isn't running and you are running the game, Blizzard have no choice but to assume you are trying to bypass the protection and ban you. Sad but true.

dual monitors? 1920x1200 x 2

I wonder if it has something to do with dual monitors and how the mouse nicely can leave the diablo screen and launch an internet browser if one wants to and lookup game information and view forum information and diablo version information. A great feature when fullscreen, but a windowed version also has this ability. I always play fullscreen (I don't remember if there was a windowed option but I assume there is).

I'm playing torchlight 2 now instead on linux.
