Hello,
A great news today in the PlayOnLinux's world

(No, it's not too much

)
I owe this news to
tyn0r who kindly propose us to lend us a space on his server to host an
ubuntu repository!
A repository?
Yes! A repository! It will allow you to automatically update your computer after a new PlayOnLinux version's release.
Here is the adress:
http://playonlinux.botux.net/
Tyn0r even adapted it to the PlayOnLinux's design. Cool, isn't it?
This repository will have an other useful feature: it will update itself
automatically after the release of a PlayOnLinux's version. Which means: when I will add a new version in the download page, it will be in the repository 10 minutes later, thanks to an automated script.
To add this repository, you can use the following commands:
sudo wget http://playonlinux.botux.net/playonlinux.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/playonlinux.list
sudo apt-get update
Or simply add the following line in /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://playonlinux.botux.net/ gutsy main
Available packages are
playonlinux and
playonlinux-dosbox-support
A huge thank to you tyn0r for this great gift you made us.
PlayOnLinux 2.0.8
Available in the new repository, we won't forget it! Here are the changes brought.
- Fixed a lamentable orthography mistake (isn't it GNU_Raziel?) in the name of a function.
- Added Spanish language (Thank to the translator, I've got his e-mail adress but I don't know his nickname on PlayOnLinux)
Sorry I didn't have time to add proxy http support. It's a pity
I wish you a good evening.
