Don't update to Mac OS 10.8.2 ...

Friday 21 September 2012 at 1:23

EDIT 2 : The problem should be fixed with PlayOnMac 4.1.8. Many thank to XQuartz team.

EDIT : A fixed version of PlayOnMac will be out today.

... if you want to keep using PlayOnMac or any other wine based solution.

Indeed, Apple has broken wine in this update. Any program using wine (Crossover, wineskin, ...) are broken.

We are trying to find what is the problem.

Mac OS 10.7.5 is also affected.

Still doesn't work for me. Was I supposed to uninstall PlayOnMac before installing the new one? I just copied it over the previous version.

I've tried both steps, downloading and installing the latest 4.1.8 and installing XQuartz 2.7.4, and It doesn't seem to solve the problem I'm facing.

I've posted a request for help in the forum in hopes that someone can clue me in as to how I can play my good o' Diablo II LOD again with PlayonMac.
