PlayOnLinux is now officially part of Debian sid, thanks to BeberKing.

It is available in the contrib repository and the related page is HERE. As you may have noticed, the available version is only PlayOnLinux 3.4 (while the current version is PlayOnLinux 3.5). This is because of the very long check time for the new packages (about 2 months) but now it has been accepted, this long test period isn't necessary anymore and BeberKing should update it next week.

From now on, to install PlayOnLinux on Debian, in addition of the usual method (explained in our download page), you can use the following method:

- Make sure the contrib repository is enabled: your /etc/apt/source.list must contain a line similar to deb http://host/debian distribution section1 section2 section3 where "http://host/debian" is the mirror of the Debian archive you use, "distribution" is sid and one of the "sectionX" is contrib.

- Type the following commands in a terminal with root privileges: apt-get update
apt-get install playonlinux
