Description, steps to reproduce:

I recently noticed that trying to download dotnet30 or dotnet 35 produces an error during the download:

An error happened during download.

Do you want to retry?

Every time I try "Retry" it produces the same error.  dotnet20 and dotnet40 download just fine.

I have this issue as well, it's preventing me from using anything that requires dotnet30.

Same problem here

Now, I get this error:

Retrying does nothing. Is it possible that the server hosting this file has been compromized? This issue should be escalated to a security bug.

same for me. the download location is simply outdated. the bug priority should be high because it prevents  stuff from being installed and working.

I think PlayOnLinux pulls them directly from a Microsoft server.  So there is a chance Microsoft changed the path.

If you already have dotnet30 in your Resources folder, PlayOnLinux checks there first.  If you don't, then try downloading it manually and putting it there in the /home/username/.PlayOnLinux/resources directory.

I'm getting the same error. Not the mismatch. I'm getting the 'connection refused'. Looks like the service is down or unreliable.

To manually get this, download the package from

Then put the file in your ~/.PlayOnLinux/ressources/dotnet35 directory.

Correction. The last comment was for .Net 3.5, not 3.0

Here is the proper link for .Net 3.0 . This is the same link that WineTricks uses.

Lol in over a year this bug has not been fixed. it is still there in POL 4.2.12. The downloadlink simply has to be updated, how hard can that be?! and this bug is on Low priority while it prevents lots of stuff from being installed...what a joke realy.
