What version of wine do you use ? it should work flawlessly under wine 2.0

Update by GiorgosK on 2017-11-08 15:28:16

I have installed Wine v.2.0.3 (from Wine's repository for Debian), but (if I'm not wrong), POL is not making use of the installed Wine version, but It installs a different Wine version, specifically for the running game.

Ehm...Am I missing something???  :-)

You can change the wine version a container is using -> http://wiki.playonlinux.com/index.php/Managing_Wine_Versions

OK. I tried another Wine version. :-)

I tried Wine v.2.20, only to receice a slightly defferent message:

"Error in POL_Wine
Wine seems to have crashed".

You should try to lauch your app in a POL Terminal with a command like

wine myapp.exe &>log.txt

So we can see the log ;)

You can open open a pol terminal in the configure window.

Ehm...Where can I find the executable?

It isn't very clear to me.

PS. What is clear to me, is that Steam (after the last update) is really buggy under Wine and usually fails to launch and even when launched is still buggy and fails to run programs.
