Hi, I recently downloaded playonmac and followed this video to set it up with diablo.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWvS4rkyoNQ

I followed the instructions and the game works fine except when I try to go fullscreen the screen attempts to center ending up a little off to the left but fills the screen top to bottom and leaves the sides black. The mouse also has some weird glitch near the edges of the screen (enough to make play extremely difficult).

In the comments section of this video Mariusz Brzeski has a solution. After following his instructions I managed to change the screen from 800x600 res in the upper left corner of the screen to this attempt at fullscreen. This is also when I started having problems with the mouse.

I'm running a brand new macbook pro with 10.8.2

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What graphics card does it have, and is it running the proprietary drivers for it? This may be the issues, but we just need a little more info. Sys specs, gfx card, etc..

Another two problems I've been having with Diablo 2.

Some odd glitch is going on where I cant explore the map beyond the beginning town Its just black where there should be the first area.

Unable to pick things up.

These glitches are a new development when I tried continuing my game from 3 days ago.

After some more experimenting I tried creating a character in single player mode. The game worked fine, is this normal?

one more glitch I've found is the mosters freezing in place and I cant attack them.

heres my bug report.

I got the same configuration Macbook Pro. An Intel i5 processor with Intel HD4000 onboard VGA,4GB Ram and 500GB HDD. While installing Diablo 2 everything is fine. But the installer for Diablo 2 LOD is only 800x600 in the X11 screen; thus the game runs only at 800x600. How do we get it to run in fullscreen?

I let this be for a couple of months as I was busy with my job but now I'm tryin to play again. I found a slightly better resolution config and the fix was stupidly simple, I feel kinda dumb now =]. Go into your game, options, video, set your screen resolution to the largest option. Its not full screen but its better.
