Greetings,

I recently decided to try out Planetside 2 inside PoL and have been running across some problems with the game crashing.

What is working:
Logging into the came
Main menu screen
keyboard input

Other than the above I have not been able to further interaction with the game. What seems to cause the crash is when I move the mouse. I have sat in game for a few minutes with out issue, but as soon as I start to move the mouse the game freezes up and I get a crash report.

I have tried wine versions 1.5.24 and 1.5.27-Planetside2 both are giving the same issue.

Any insite into the cause of this would be greatly appreciated. Debug and crash reports are below.

Looks like you are missing a lot of dependencies. I can see right off the bat you need vcrun2008, possibly .net.

We need the actual POL debug output. Check the stickies for info on how to do that.

Thank you for the quick reply. I was a little slow getting the debug log up and it is kind of large so I decided to put it on google docs and share the link to the log file.

I actually used a scrip that I found on the site to do the install:

Its ok. Check http://appdb.qinehq.com and see if its listed when you search for it. There will likely be an entry for it with tips to get it working.

That is actually the install script that I used, but I am going to try re-installing the gave via the GUI. Last time I didn't think to check the "Testing" box to find an existing script.

I will let you know what happens.
