Hey guys.

I have been trying to install LOL for a long time, and i managed to install it. However, when i press play, i get the message that i need adobeAIR. When i try to install it with POL, it gives me the error(after three tries):
Error in POL_Download
POL_Download - MD5 sum mismatch ! (3 attempt)

I have been looking in every forum i can find, but nothing has come up. I already did the command: sudo apt-get install liblcms2-2:i386

But that only allowed me to actually download it.
So now, i want to patch my wineprefix with adobeAIR manually. But i have no idea how to. Any help?

I just managed to download it correctly, and there's usually more than 10 simultaneous downloads at any time on the server, so I suppose it works.
Do you have enough free disk space in your home directory? The tarball is like 1.8GB, then you need about as much when it is later unarchived

I have downloaded league of Legends and installed all the patches fully, but when i press play, i get the error. I have enough space, over 20GB on both Computers. I think its the adobeAIR problem; should i provide a debugging log?

To my knowledge the error you mention is indeed related to the use of Wine 1.7.x and the fact it uses liblcms2 instead of liblcms like old versions; And as a workaround, since the former is not among the dependencies of PlayOnLinux, liblcms2 has been added to all Wine 1.7.x packages when the problem has been discovered (so, some days after the LoL 3.11 patch, probably around the 8th or 9th of September).
If you try to install LoL manually you may face several issues and that's why there's a script in the first place; But at the very least be sure to use Wine 1.7-LeagueOfLegends downloaded more recently that above dates, that both has liblcms2 embedded, and the patch that prevents Wine from crashing when displaying icons that use an unsupported format (and display red squares instead - but that's better than crashing).
If you still experience this AdobeAir problem it could be worth having a look at the logs, even if in all frankness, I'm more interested in getting the script to work for more people.

Ok i decided to use the provided script. I just wanted to do it manually to undertand more.
The script worked on my one computer with Linux Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit, but on my other one, which has the same OS system and 32-bit, it gives me the following:

Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x00000014 in 32-bit code (0x7acd8c70).

Obviously, i can't make head or tail of it, but i am guessing that some pakages are missing? No idea...

It breaks in libglcore, so it's most likely a problem of video driver/libraries
j4ckxandxj1ll Tuesday 24 September 2013 at 14:06

How to fix?
My computer's hardware is:

Intel Core Duo T2400 / 1.83 GHz ( Dual-Core )
80.0 GB(13GB free)
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 TurboCache supporting 256MB

And i really have no idea how to fix my bug. Any suggestions, like installing additional drivers?

You said nothing about the drivers you installed, did you install the nVidia proprietary drivers? From the look of the debug dump, I suppose not...
j4ckxandxj1ll Tuesday 24 September 2013 at 19:31

No i did not... i will install them tonight(its night here, and my internet is very slow at the moment). If it does not work, i will come and complain again ;) Thank you very much for your help and timely answers, i really appreciate it.
