Fedora 20 does a weird zoom-in thing that makes games unplayable

I'm having issues running any games through wine or playonlinux. Whenever I try to run them, the resolution changes to 800x600 and does this weird zoom-in thing like an accessibility tool magnifying glass that if you move your mouse to the edge of the screen it will scroll off what is supposed to be full screen. This makes games unplayable. I then have to manually set the resolution in gnome again in order to get out of this weird mode. The game also gives me a black screen and only occasionally flickers the actual in-game screen when I play around with input.
I have installed my latest video drivers from nVidia, and to the best of my knowledge my Fedora 20 distro is up to date.
The specific game I'm trying to play right now is Arcanum from GOG, but I have had this problem with another game too (but directly through wine and not through playonlinux). That games was Myst online, btw.
Distro: Fedora 20
Linux localhost.localdomain 3.14.8-200.fc20.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Jun 16 21:57:53 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Video Card: GeForce GTX 660
Processor: Intel i7
System Wine Version: wine-1.7.19
Arcanum is using wine version 1.6.2
Let me know if there's any other relevant information I can post.

[06/21/14 01:18:18] - Running wine-1.6.2 --version (Working directory : /usr/share/playonlinux/python)
> PlayOnLinux Version
[06/21/14 01:18:27] - Running wine-1.6.2 cmd /c echo %ProgramFiles% (Working directory : /usr/share/playonlinux/python)
Install Logs: (The install seems to have worked fine, but I'll include the logs for the sake of completeness.)

Very strange problem. We you able to resolve it yet?
I bet Fedora has a screen magnifier that you can uninstall.
