Sim City Societies refuses to start
Vanilla game works fine, issue arises when expansion pack is installed

Hi all, I've been trying to run one of my favorites, Sim City Societies, on playonlinux, but I'm running into some issues. Although the vanilla game works 100% perfectly fine (if dotnet 2.0 is installed before it that is), as soon as I install the expansion pack, Simcity Societies: Destinations from Origin, the game crashes immediately with this error:
Unhandled exception: assertion failed in 32-bit code (0xf7752b40).
I am currently running a 64 bit Fedora 20 installation with the default gnome. Here is the playonlinux debugger output as well
[08/18/14 10:32:54] - Running wine- SCSocietiesLauncher.exe (Working directory : /home/pabrahamson/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/SCS/drive_c/Program Files/Electronic Arts/SimCity™ Societies/Launcher)
Sorry for all the lines of code, just thought the more that is listed, the more likely it would help. I've been trying to get this to run for two days now but with no budge.I've even reinstalled, and tried the ¨repair¨ button in the simulated add and remove programs program but with no fruition. I cannot comprehend why the vanilla game runs 100% just as good as it would on Windows XP (much better than it ever did on Vista/7) but as soon as I install the expansion pack, all is dead. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
