Hi

I installed the last playonlinux.

But i don't see any menu where i can start the  office 2010.

I only installed excel 2010 and word 2010

I only see desktop shortcuts but no menu items

I don't know it if automatically creates menu items. Do excel and word actually work? You don't need to start the office suite if you are just using excel or word.

Hi,

Looking at the install script it doesn't create menu entries; That's a somewhat new feature, maybe it could be added to the script

(Technical background: to create menu shortcuts POL_Shortcut need an extra parameter: the registered categories of the menu to create the entry in, usually as "Main Category;Additionnal Category;" syntax)

I agree. Is there a way to manually create the menus? Like, isn't there a wine-menubuilder or something like that?

I gave it a try, two programs are hard to classify:

- Outlook (emails/contact management/calendar?)

- Onenote (found no category for collaborative work)

Yeah. That is one of those things that could probably just be put under "Office" or "productivity". I would say Outlook could go in Internet, as that is where I usually find my distro's email client. lol.
