Hello,
I am thinking it should be more free2play games in the playonlinux installer, like LoL, dofus or APB reloaded, we are linux users and we like free software ;)

Some games: Gameglobe, LoL, Dofus2, Lineage2, SWTOR, RaiderZ, Planetside2, APB reloaded, aion, elsword, etc.

We all like free games!
Thanks for posting these games
Its a great business model to make your game free and it gets funded by advertising and players who "want" to buy ingame items.

My favorites:

Hell I don't even mind buying games on GOG.com for $4.00 or even buying used AAA games on Amazon.  They are practically free.

Humble Bundle has a lot of games and you can pay whatever you want.  So I have inherited a few games that way too.

Free-to-play isn't everything, but there are some extremely fun games out there and don't cost you a penny.

Help yourself, write installation scripts.

Those games are often updated and require dedicated maintainers.

Agreed, normally Windows users don't have to worry about that... they just let the update apply and then play. But us Wine gamers find that updates can break something.

In some ways I would rather purchase a DRM free game than have to keep worrying about my game breaking.

The problem is more with the fact they're online than because they're free to play.
This gives a lot of opportunities for automated updates, and developers usually take advantage of it, to the dismay of all unsupported platforms.

Exactly, so we are at the mercy of the developers, but man... that is job security for them.
Relax, create assets, code, release content. Keep upgrading your game, keep fixing bugs... the game is never done.

Isn't that the case with World of Warcraft?
