At the installation wizard, I'm told that the program will be installed at::
/home/user/.PlayOnLinux//wineprefix/AbletonLive
It then asks me to select my setup file. I've tried both using /Ableton/Live9Suite/AbletonLive9Suite.exe as well as the more standard Setup.msi (which I read elsewhere on this forum should work in theory).
I then get the following message::
"Error in POL_Wine
Wine seems to have crashed
If your program is running, just ignore this message"

I'm using ubuntu 12.04 on a 2011 Macbook Pro, 64 bit machine. Wine version 1.7.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm an Ableton Certified Trainer and I've wanting to switch exclusively to Ubuntu for years--my work with Ableton has been the only thing keeping me on the mac side.
