EVE Online will not launch.

Hello,

I have been trying to run EVE Online through Steam using PlayOnLinux. Steam has installed fine; EVE has installed fine, however when I start the EVE launcher and click play it says Launching and then just goes back to the word Play with any error message. I am using Debian Wheezy 7.1 64 bit, running steam through wine 1.7.11 and my desktop is GNOME.

My computer hardware is as follows:
-8600M GT Nvidia graphics card. My drivers are updated.
-Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T7250 @ 2.00GHz
-2GB ram

I should note that the exefile.exe process (the EVE process) is present in task manager so it would appear that EVE is running however it is not displaying any graphical output. As well as that after a few moments three processes briefly appear before disappearing, these being DXSETUP.exe, DirectXRedist.exe and cmd.exe. It is still not giving me any error message.
