I've done some searching for this and I'm not searching the right keywords or don't have the right terms:

I am trying to get a game called "Lemmings Revolution" to work using the 'Game not listed' feature and I have been able to get it to install but I am having the following issue when playing that I can't seem to figure out.

This is the game: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemmings_Revolution

In the game you need to right-click and drag to rotate the "world" that you navigate these lemmings around.   The problem is that whenever you right click and drag the screen moves (off monitor somewhat).

I have tried the various mouse options and display options with no luck.   Some options make it somewhat better, but in large the game is nearly impossible to play.

I'd like to fix but I'm not sure where I should look at this point.   I suspect it may actually be more of an issue with by display card (nvidia) that I need to learn how to tweak because I have similiar off-screen issues with some other games, but usually toggling between full screen and windowed mode fixes (usually) and once fixed, everything stays in it's proper location.

The best way I could describe it is that if the upper-left corner of the game is 0,0 when this happens the game goes to like -300, -400 and moves with the mouse in full-screen and in windowed mode it's very hard to get the mouse back on the window and when I do it's very choppy and getting to the screen edges is impossible.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.   I'm running Debian Wheezy with KDE normally but this occurs with OpenBox as well so I don't thinking is a WM/DM issue but that's a guess.
