I have been researching online to find an application that would allow me to download itunes to be able to transfer my ipad music to my PC which uses Ubuntu 12.04. Does this work? Do I have to enter commands in Terminal?
Yes, people have tried it in Wine along, but its not looking good: iTunes WineHQ
First I would recommend upgrading to Ubuntu 14.04
If you download the iTunes installer and use PlayOnLinux to install it, you won't need to use the terminal
