• Is there a legal way to download and run System Shock 1 (not the remake) on Mac without using Boot Camp/Parallels/CrossOver? What is the difference between the enhanced edition and the original 1994 version?

• Will the remake still be released for Mac at some point?

• The Steam version of System Shock 2 says it works on Mac. Is it the same for the GOG.com version? How well do each of these run? I have a computer old enough to run 32-bit apps. https://19216811.cam/

• Story-wise, would it make sense to play the sequel before the original if I cannot get the original to run?
