Has anyone played Doom 2016 on the Base M4 Pro chip?

I'll finally have the funds available next week to get the M4 Pro chip 12 core CPU and I'll be adding 48GB of RAM with a 1TB SDD. Is Crossover the only way to play Windows PC games on Mac? I'll be using it for other purposes. But some light gaming will make it fun https://mobdro.bio/ . Thanks for any advice in advance.
