My last post had many people confused so I thoughts its better to create a table of comparing M4 Max with popular nvidia gpus of both laptop and desktop in 2 native games and as well as blender benchmarks. The table clearly shows that gaming performance differs a lot compared to blender benchmark. It also shows that m4 max is pretty capable in blender but scales only to RTX 5060/4070/3080 laptop in gaming. The games are cyberpunk 1080p ultra and assassin creed shadows 1080p ultra with data taken from notebookcheck website. M5 Max is expected to match 5070 ti laptop in gaming performance and surpass 5090 laptop gpu in blender.
