I experience some problems trying to launch yarxi application ( www.susi.ru/yarxi )

when it starts, yarxi does not build database, and does not draw window part, where buttons are placed.

it also shows "OLE error 80004001" (even with dcom98) and "invalid floating point operation"
since application is started, there is no way of exiting but killing it.

I've got such output in the console:chmod: невозможно получить доступ к `/home/idji/.PlayOnLinux/tmp/WineBooster': Нет такого файла или каталога
rm: невозможно удалить `/home/idji/.PlayOnLinux/tmp/WineBooster': Нет такого файла или каталога
err:module:load_builtin_dll failed to load .so lib for builtin L"winealsa.drv": libasound.so.2: невозможно открыть разделяемый объектный файл: Нет такого файла или каталога

Running yarxi

I'm using PoL 3.2.2 and wine 1.1.12, Debian lenny 2.6.26

Just in case - I'm sorry if this is the wrong plase to post this.

P.S.: I've heard from my friend, he has no problems launching yarxi, but he does not know, how to make it work in my case.

ok, after some research, I finally figured out that Yarxi was a Russian /Japanese dictionary .

First, sorry but Ihave no idea how to solve your problem

BUT, what I can tell you is that there are a few good Japanese dictionary on Linux.

you should try Gjiten, I need a Japanese dictionary pretty much everyday and Gjiten is pretty handy, it has kanji search by number of strokes and by radical. If you have the uim input method installed, it should be no problem (I know it's a English/Japanese but it really is a good dictionary)

here is the page from packages.debian.org : http://packages.debian.org/testing/x11/gjiten

またね!

If there is a problem, fill out complaint form and place it in an envelope addressed to the name of the hospital in which you were born....
