The error persists. We spanish speaking users on a Mac have 2 locales settings which will most of the time be different, except for Spaniards. We all have the system language as es_ES but the system settings will be either es_MX, es_AR, es_CO, es_BO, es_CL, etc. Resorting to both es_ES solves the problem completely but dramatically affects our keyboard layouts, date formats, currency and decimal notation.
