Hi,

first of all I love thise project and GOG (Have some games but mainly NWN1 Gold so far, even with editor etc. :)). Today I swapped to Fedora 17 x86_64 and used the playonlinux.repo on your website, current version installed is: 4.1.4

If I click install, it starts syncing but nothing happens...

Here is some output:
screenshot:
[code][disi@disi-bigtop]~% playonlinux
[main] Message: PlayOnLinux (4.1.4) is starting
[clean_tmp] Message: Cleaning temp directory
[Check_OpenGL] Warning: 32bits direct rendering is not enabled
[Check_OpenGL] Message: 64bits direct rendering is enabled

[maj_check] Message: List is up to date

[install_plugins] Message: Checking plugin: PlayOnLinux Vault...[/code]

This problem is known. It appears when PlayOnLinux is not up to date.

It has been fixed in 4.1.6 developement version. If you want to get rid of that, get an up to date version (4.1.5 at the moment)

Hy Everyone,

I ran into the same PlayOnLinux database update issue a while back. Usually it happens when the repository list isn’t refreshing properly or there’s a temporary server hiccup. What worked for me was manually forcing an update and checking if my system libraries were up to date, especially Wine dependencies. Also, sometimes it’s just about keeping things maintained regularly — kind of like how systems perform better with routine care. I came across this idea while reading about maintenance approaches on https://camzcleaning.com different field, but the principle still applies. Keeping things “clean and updated” really does prevent these kinds of issues.
