SO, I managed to get League of Legends running nearly flawlessly with Play ON Linux, however when I attempt to actually enter a game, I load to 100% and then the client stops and I get a bug splat error.

Report details say:

LOL_Public5D2T45F6.dm... C:\USERS\AUSTIN\Temp
S9HT0JK7.xml *               C:\USERS\Austin\Temp
2013-10-26t18-53-29-r3d   C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Log

Any ideas? Thanks help is much appreciated.

We need a bit of information first...
What Distro are you running? 32-bit or 64-bit?
What version of PlayOnLinux?
What version of Wine?

I'm guessing you are using the League of Legends installer through PlayOnLinux, but you can also follow my step-by-step guide on manually installing it: League of Legends Guide

I am running Ubuntu 13.10, 64 Bit. How do I check which versions of wine or POL I am running?

Open PlayOnLinux and click help, then click "About PlayOnLInux"
For Wine, just click Configure and select the League of Legends virtual drive on the left.
The General Tab tells you which version of Wine you are using.

I haven't been able to get it running. I followed your guide to the T and I get it running, but when I log in the virtual desktop closes.

I'm running POL version 4.2.1 and Wine...well I don't see a general tab lol.

First open PlayOnLinux
Click Configure
Then select League of Legends shortcut
the first tab is General and it shows Wine Version

Two things before we continue...

A. Make sure to install the 32-bit libraries for Ubuntu
 1. Find Terminal
 2. launch it and copy/paste this command
sudo apt-get install multiarch-support ia32-libs
3. press enter
 4. enter your password
 5. press enter
32-bit libraries should start installing

B. Try using the 1.5.24-LeagueOfLegendsShop

Download Wine Version:

 1. Launch PlayOnLinux

 2. Click Tools

 3. Click Manage Wine Versions

 4. Select version of Wine on the left side: 1.5.24-LeagueOfLegendsShop

 5. Click the Left Arrow in the middle to download

 6. When finished, the new version of Wine will be on the left side

 7. Close Wine Manager
 8. Click Configure in PlayOnLinux
 9. Select League of Legends virtual drive (left side)
 10. General Tab
 11. Click down arrow next to Wine 1.6-rc4
 12. Change to Wine 1.5.24-LeagueOfLegendsShop

Launch game again.

Unfortunately none of those fixed my issues either. When I go through your guide, I get the game to launch on a virtual desktop, but as soon as I log in, it closes and nothing else happens.

When I use the POL method but simply selecting install, going to "IN TESTING" and selecting LoL, I can manage to log in, select my character, launch a game, but as soon as my character loads at 100% I get a bug splat.

Ok, just wanted to get those out of the way. It was really important to get the 32-bit libraries installed because most games won't run without them.

This time, launch LOL by clicking "Debug" instead of "Run"
When you get the bug splat kill the game and then copy the output from the debug and paste here.

Wow, I did a search for "bug splat" and guess what came up?
League of Legends!!!
Apparently this is a problem for lots of people.
There might be a chance it isn't your setup at all... it might be the recent patch

When I use the other method that gets me far enough to receive a bug splat, here's the error I received.

My amount of Vram can be changed because I have an APU (5800K) I set it for 512MB which seemed too take care of the out of adapter memory issue, now I have to figure out what's causing the other issues.

You can disregard the RAS messages, as you can disregard the fixmes in general.
As I already explained once, "not all failures are errors":
