Hi! I am using playonmac to play SWOS 2020. Since the game uses SDL library 2.22.0 or higher, the game sound is bugged (scratchy). The last SDL version that worked fine was 2.8.0!

You will be asked to locate an original version upon install. I have attached the file you will need to validate it. (pitch1.dat) Put it in a folder and point to it manually when prompted during installation.
Once you run the game you will hear the scratchy sound problems.
PS: The same issue occurs when using Crossover on Mac! The game works fine on Linux/Wine, with clean sound.
