So I've been messing around with Hyprland recently (i normally use DWM), and I did not expect the difference in gaming to be this pronounced.
First of all, let's get this out of the way, the image just looks better. It's more fluid, 0 tearing, just perfectly crisp.
But what I did not expect however is the difference in FPS to be this huge. For the time being I've only really tested The Witcher 3 in a single area, but the difference was about 33% more FPS (on average) on Wayland. https://100001.onl/
Is this normal? Does it vary a lot from game to game
