I tried to download skyrim off of a cd. everything went smoothly until it finished. then when i hit run it just throws the skyrim steam purchasing page up. What's it doing?

Ubuntu 13.04
Wine 1.7.11

no error messages

Edit: after more expirimentation, I think it might have mixed-up install systems(Steam install running instead of CD) I'm trying that now
Again, any ideas/speculation/sympathy would be greatly apprecated

I had problems with trying to install from DVD instead of downloading as well.
