SC2 Graphics / Wine / Screen related Issues

Hi again,

I have been running Sc2 with help from another thread for about 6 months now with very good performance.

http://www.playonlinux.com/en/topic-11310-SC2_HOTS_mouse_cursor_glitch_a_hotkeys.html

There are 2 minor things that still bug me from time to time which perhaps aren't 100% POL related, but I hope I can get some help again.

1. I am unable to modify 2 graphics settings in SC2 (these are needed for so called hybrid graphics ( http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/starcraft-2/442848-hybrid-settings-20 ), but SC2 will not allow me to change lighting or shadows to any other value than "low"

I have read that disabling GLSL support can cause these problems, so I tried enabling that again, but the issue still persists.

I am running on Wine 1.7.10 CSMT and have an AMD 280x on

display: :0  screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
OpenGL version string: 4.4.12874 Compatibility Profile Context 14.10.1006

I have tried Wine 1.7.1 CSMT and the newest Wine 1.7.18 and I have the same issues, so I don't think its related to the Wine version.

Are there any other settings which can affect these graphics settings ingame?

2. I switch between screens (CTRL + ALT F8 and CTRL + ALT F9) and always run SC2 in a seperate screen. I have noticed that the network connection in the inactive screen times out after around 1-2 minutes in the inactive screen. The same happens for Wine run programs in my first screen, when I stay in the SC2 screen for a longer time. Is there a way to change this behaviour?

Cheers for any help!
