General Problems with 4.2.5

Hi there, I got several problems with PoM since I updated to the current version and probably also because of my Yosemite update. I didn't use PoM for quite some time and now I wanted to play the games I had installed but since they didn't work anymore I updated PoM to the new version. In the new version no wine version prior to 1.7.2 or 3 works anymore and since the only games I want to play are Caesar 3, Pharaoh maybe and Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit (none of them worked in fullscreen before because of the flickering) now I don't know how to play any of them anymore since the new wine only supports fullscreen and each game has the fullscreen flickering issue. I tried reinstalling XQuartz and several wine versions as well as the script trying to change to window mode somewhere on this website but none of this has helped. Any suggestion is welcome.

The computer is an early 2011 Macbook Pro

 In the new version no wine version prior to 1.7.2 or 3 works anymore

POM versions don't affect the usability of Wine versions. If they don't work anymore, then you are missing something on your OS that is stopping those previous versions from working. POM is just a GUI for Wine.

Thanks for your reply. While I know that, I was hoping for some more practical suggestion as to point me to a solution. Maybe for example what is missing or how to obtain it. If I didn't give enough information please tell me what is missing.

Well, as per the forums rules and stickies, your full computer specs and debug output should have been posted in the first post, as it is impossible to tell without that. ;) The stickies are the ones that say read before posting.

Yeah. All signs point to X. Someone more familiar with Mac will have to take a look at this.

Yes, several times. The last times exactly as the xquartz' FAQ suggested.

Edit: I reinstalled OSX and now it works.
