league of legends shop not working

xavierlp	i installed leagues 1.9.2 with playonlinux and the shop is not working. i looked online and they suggest that i install ie8 but when i do that ie8 refuses to install saying a more recent version is currently installed on my cpu. any suggestions to my problem.
