After applying the fixes described in the other thread I get the following error (other thread: https://www.playonlinux.com/en/topic-14653-Battle_net_not_working_.html):

wine: Unhandled exception 0xc0000417 in thread b5 at address 0xfdc3b4 (thread 00b5), starting debugger...

The context is this:

Hi,

I got the exact same problem, with following message:

wine: Unhandled exception 0xc0000417 in thread b5 at address 0xfdc3b4 (thread 00b5), starting debugger...

But without any detail to find the cause.

Some informations:

  • gentoo
  • wine 1.9.16
  • playonlinux 4.2.10
  • Battle.net 7730
  • corefonts and vcrun2015 installed

​The problem is the same with wine only (so this may be a wine problem)
