Question from a developer perspective:  Does playonmac honor the indirection when it executes GetPrivateProfileString?

This windows api call is described here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms724353(v=vs.85).aspx

The problem i'm seeing is that an application install is working fine, the registry is updated but then when I try to run the application, i'm not able to get a value from the registry via GetPrivateProfileString.  

OS X - 10.12.5,  playonmac 4.2.12
