How do I tell Steam games I support OpenGL?

Pretty much just that.  I need a way to tell/convince Steam that my system supports OpenGL.  On install a driver for my video card?  or something?

I'm trying to play Battle Brothers via Steam on a MacBook Pro with a dedicated GPU.  Steam launches just fine, but Battle Brothers throws an error on launch and immediately closes, saying that I need to support OpenGL 3.3+.

There was a thread on the Steam forums that had a bit of advice for Linux users, but that didn't seem to help me out here.  Still, someone may know how to implement a similar fix on Mac?

Thanks!!

First you should verify the OpenGL version that your Mac support.

Then you add this key to the wine registry -> "HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Wine Direct3D MaxVersionGL" value to "x000y" where x and y correspond to your OpenGL version.

You can also try with recent wne staging, the OpenGL version is by default 3.2

Thanks for the help!

I'm on a 2015 MacBook Pro, which supports OpenGL 4.1. I tried setting the registry key to both 40001 and 30003 but I'm still getting the OpenGL error on launch. :(

The game I'm trying to play requires 3.3, so the new default setting would have to be overridden anyway.

I'm going to hack away at this some more, but I'd appreciate any more guidance!
