So I've installed KAM Remake on my LUBUNTU laptop and running it with playnlinux I get freezes from time to time with a message from LXQT that the default resolution has been applied and it crashes from time to time, I know for a fact that this game on windows needs DirectPlay but when I try to install it the installer gives an error as if the link for the download of DirectPlay is broken in the software.

Can anyone help me please?
