Fairly recent (past 3 years) iPad game, could be Netflix, where you choose portals and progress through environments on an ill-defined quest. Most specific memory is of lots of jumping off conveyor belts just before they bring you through flames in the oven-ish lower levels. Pretty deep game, lots of areas  .
