I have a problem, i compiled wine from source and installed it. And now i can't install POL because it's dependency of wine from distro( Ubuntu 8.10 x86_64) . Is it possible to use POL and wine from source together?( I mean not installing wine from distro packages)

You need to solve the software dependencies, you can just look on what the deb file depends.

You need also to have wine in your path.
