"Services are temporarily closed" Error

ghostwheel	POL version: 3.8.5 OS: Ubuntu 10.10 Problem: attempted to install Steam initially, then I tried a bunch of other applications and in all cases I get this error immediately after clicking apply: "Sorry, PlayOninux and PlayOnMac services are temporarily closed due to a technical problem 4/09/2010" I searched both the forums and Google and found nothing about this problem. Anyone know what might be going on?
