Baldur's Gate 2 glDeleteTextures crash

Hello,

I'm trying to play the Baldur's Gate with the bgt-weidu mod however when I'm trying to transition to another map the game crashes with an 'Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x00000114 in 32bit code (0x7e07deb4)' error.

By looking at the backtrace (which can be found here http://pastebin.com/EHRENviH) I can see that the error spawns in the glDeleteTextures function.

From my searches I have found this reference which might be related with this error http://source.winehq.org/source/dlls/wined3d/surface.c?v=wine-1.3.25 line 7120 however even with wine 1.3.25 it still locks up minus the backtrace.

This happens when trying to leave the map right after leaving Candlekeep.
Any idea how to make it work?

Edit: I should mention that I did not use an install script to install the games and the mod. I did it by hand in a new virtual drive.

I have reinstalled the game and something interesting happened: when I tried to transition to another area it didn't freeze right off the bat. It showed the world map and allowed me to select an area to which I wanted to transition. Only after I selected the area it froze with the same error.
