Dota 2 Texture help Dota players!!

So I before all this crazy steam and dota 2 updates I used to be able to play on Medium texture for dota 2, but now when I play a multiplayer game it crashes right when it starts. So I switched it to low and works but looks shity :P    Has anyone else faced the same problem and any tips to fix this? Could it be the WINE program or dota 2 or playonmac? please help.

what it says when it crashes is "Failed to lock vertex buffer in CMeshDx8::LockVertexBUffer

Another Question I have is what version of Wine should I be using for steam on Playonmac? I currently have Wine 1.5.10
