I have been tackling the idea of switching to Linux as a main OS for a while now. I want to game mostly steam stuff and some emulation . I don’t have a great PC it’s very dated ( AM3+ MOBO) I wanted to know what’s a beginner friendly OS that would be good for gaming. Also a question about Linux is I’m worried about all the different versions and how reliable they devs are with updates. Windows I don’t need to worry about that. So what’s a good version that’s beginner friendly and frequently gets updated for gaming  .
