I tried installing the game myself, but got the following error:

"Video playback has failed to initialize. Please make sure that Windows Media Video 8 codec is installed correctly."

What can I do in this situation? Please, help!

I've used Hitfilm Express (Version 2021.3) on an almost daily basis lately and now I got this issue today all of a sudden. It started occurring after restarting the PC after I installed the latest Windows 11 updates.
