How were you able to install the libxvmc1:i386? If I try to, it will automatically remove the 64-bit ones.

I did not force anything, so I suppose that's some dependency that got fixed in Sid

Thanks, I got it to work by "upgrading" to Sid.

Thanks petch, bassomat and everyone for the replies.

I have upgraded to Sid which has allowed me to get the binary nVidia driver working so that I have proper support for my GTX 550 Ti, however I still cannot get proper OpenGL support working for D3D support in PlayOnLinux.  The packaged binary driver for Sid still doesn't properly support my card so I am pretty much stuck at this point.

Has anyone gotten this to work in Sid using the downloaded nVidia binary driver?

I wanted to mention that after an update to Debian Sid sometime in November this started working for me just out of the blue, and has been working flawlessly ever since. I have recently upgraded to the newest nVidia binary drivers and they are working even better than before. I have dozens of great games working perfectly and am loving PlayOnLinux, loving WINE, loving Debian, and loving nVidia!

Thanks again for all suggestions and help everyone and keep up the great work!

Did you completly updated your hole Debian to SID? I'm running LinuxMint Debian Edition based on testing. I Installed the nvidia drivers from the experimental repos. Debian tells me everything is finde with my gl and 3d settings. But playonlinux tells me that there are no 32bit drivers available.
I tried it with my favourite Game WoT, if i press launch i get a "you dont have any directx"-bla bla.
I Don't want to upgrade to sid completly. I think it's tooo unstable for me.

Can you tell me the packages u installed for running gl and directx?

I Have LMDE actually basing on wheezy, 64 bit with Cinnamon Desktop, i've installed multiarch i363 and the ia32-libs packages. Driver Version is 314 experimental.
I Dont know what to do.

I got nvidia 550 ti to

I run dpkg -i libxvmc1_1.0.7-1.1~local_i386.deb in the terminal and get this error.

It says I need these other libs to install this one, but when I try install those i need other libs to install those. It's like an endless cirkle :S

I am using Debian 7.1 64-bit.
