Hello all,

It doesn't happen every time, but sometimes when I bring my laptop back from hibernation, the POL application I am using (Evernote) crashes. Or rather POL crashes, rendering my application unuseable.

I get the error message "Sorry, Play On Linux has crashed", etc.

Here is the debug log:
10/28/12 12:20:24] - Running wine-1.4 Evernote.exe (Working directory : /home/george/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/Evernote/drive_c/Program Files/Evernote/Evernote)
[10/28/12 12:21:51] - Running wine-1.4 Evernote.exe (Working directory : /home/george/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/Evernote/drive_c/Program Files/Evernote/Evernote)

err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually, you can find it in the winbind package of your distribution.

I don't know how to get that file, or if that ntml_auth file is really the problem. The program seems to run fine until I come up from hibernation.

Nevertheless, if I had that file at least it might give me another error.

The only winbind packages available from the openSUSE repositories are an apache winbind and 2 samba winbind packages.

I could find winetricks and install it, but how do I install winetricks in an embedded wine version that is run through POL?

Thanks,
g.o.

Hi,

That should be fixed by installing one of the the Samba winbind client package, but I'm almost sure it has nothing to do with your issue, this message happens from time to time when you don't have the package and Wine can live with it fine for months, unless you're running some program like Microsoft Office that requires it, it's harmless.
