Problems With Menus Boxes/Text

Wine version: 1.4
Distribution: Ubuntu (specifically Edubuntu)
Distribution version: 12.04.1 LTS, Precise Pangolin
Graphics card: AMD/ATI Wrestler [Radeon HD 6290]
Graphics card driver: Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but this is what "jockey-text -l" spits out in terminal: xorg:fglrx - ATI/AMD proprietary FGLRX graphics driver (Proprietary, Enabled, In use)
Comments: It installed just fine, but the menu boxes don't appear and neither does any text, including typed text. A blinking cursor appears where I assume I'd be typing in my login info, but no buttons or boxes or anything appears. The rotating panoramic of various GW environs slowly rotates around, which lets me know my processor and video card can handle this game no problem...but I can't get into it, and I imagine quests and combat'd be pretty hard without any menus or skills or anything to click on.

Fixed, I found the problem on WineHQ and it's resolution is to disable GLSL. However there's another problem: no audio. The test audio in wine config makes a sound just fine, and my audio drivers work with other games, so it seems specific to this game.

Little help?

The graphics issue has been solved (GLSL is a common setting to cause errors with AMD cards. You are not alone. )

Can you give us some debugging info? Start playonlinux from your terminal and post the output after trying to run the game. This will give us more info on what is actually causing the audio issue.
