Wine version: 1.4.1, 1.5.20
Distribution: OpenSuSE
Distribution version: 12.2
Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GT 650M
Graphics card driver: 304.64-22.1
Perquisite: d3dx9, dxdiag, vcrun2005, dotnet20sp1, dotnet35
Comments:

I have only tested on installation.

For Wine 1.4.1,

Installation for all perquisite seems fine, even with dotnet. However, during installation of the game, it will try to initiate .NET 3.5 installation but fail which end up with a wordless pop up window where all four buttons (OK, Cancel, Abort, Retry) does not response. The GOG installer will hang as well. I have to quit the installation by forcing closing the POL window.

For Wine 1.5.20,

Installation for all perquisite seems fine except dotnet35. During installation of the game, it unable to detect .NET 3.5 installation. It will show up installer of .NET 3.5 and download the files. After the file download, it will execute the setup which end up failed. It shows "removing files" and then a end screen with an exit button. Aftering clicking "exit", a similar wordless pop up window will show up, the GOG installer will show the setup complete screen but they are still failed to response to any mouse click. I have to force quit the installer at the end.

After that, I find that the NWN2 Launcher can still be executed and changing options for the game.

The wine 1.5.27 based automatic installer worked perfectly for me on Ubuntu 12.10 x64.
I did have to go bump the video memory to match my card (1024MB).

I'm testing the game now to see how it works.

I had to install directx9 as well. This got the game to run and started the in-game tutorial but it seemed to crash at the first loading screen (when you go through the door)

Are you talking about the gog.com version?
Did you use the official script (in testing)?

I have also tried this and there are a few issues, However the game is painstakingly smooth, very impressed. My system is:

Ubuntu 13.10 64 bit
HP DC5750
AMD Athalon 64 x2 6000+
8 gigs memory
Power color ATI Radeon HD 7750 (low profile)
FGLRX-updates (video driver, the regular ones wont work, my card is too new)

I have playonlinux installed from ubuntu repository and wine 1.4.1 as well (pol however installed wine 1.5.27 when using the testing installer), I used the testing gog installer from playonlinux (4.2.1)

Well one issue is the sky in nwn, it is smeared graphics of trees and npcs, to fix this issue in nwn2 while playing:

hit the "`" key and type

DebugMode 1

sky 0

DebugMode 0

This is usually howerver only an issue with nvidia graphics cards not generally ati, also I tried disabelling AA and anisortropic filtering as well, no effect. The other issue is when playing the tutorial and completeing it, the game stops and stays on a black screen instead of loading the next area.

On a side note when using the "install video driver" in playonlinux in the install components menu it uses the device ID for the intergrated ati graphics card (x300) instead of the dedicated 7750, but uses the correct vendor ID (they are both ATI cards so not a surprise), I was able to correct this easy enough but many may not.
