While trying to install Microsoft Office 2010, I recieve this error. Office 2013 shows it as well. "Sorry, PlayOnLinux 4.2.12 is too old to continue. PlayOnLinux 4.0.18 is required." 

Arch, POL 4.2.12.

Until this bug is solved, you could give a try the POL5 -> https://github.com/PhoenicisOrg/POL-POM-5/wiki/Build

There is a script for microsoft office that needs some tests.
