Hello,
When I run playonmac on my computer, a message appears that says "PlayOnMac has encountered a fatal error, and will now terminate."
MacOS Mojave 10.14.2 Macbook Air

I'm afraid I'm having the same problem as dchurba.  I upgrade from a 4.2 version to 4.3.4.  I am running Mojave 10.14.2 on a Macbook Air Mid 2013.  PlayOnMac just produces the message "PlayOnMac has encountered a fatal error, and will now terminate."  At that point, there is no way to access anything other than "Open Console" and "Terminate"  The first option opens the general console and I cannot locate any error message.  Terminate does nothing, and I must force quit the app, which produces this: " playonmac.realを強制終了しました。" (playonmac.real has force quit).  I would post the Report that it would sent to apple, but that is a wall of message.  Does anyone know what is happening?

The problem happens with some system language. This will be fixed with the next version of POM. In the meantime, you can put your system in english as a workaround

Doesn't seem as if this is the case.  I'm running in English and having the same concern...

Ran from Terminal, here's the output...

Thanks for anything you can do!

Just pinging here again: anyone else having 10.14.4 issues (when things are set in "English" in system language?)

Would love help here, any ideas why we'd have a fatal POM error in 10.14.4 (beta) when the system klanguage us set to English?

No idea yet ...

I'm sorry to have been silent so long, but system language change did not actually solve the problem for me.  I tried system font in English and Japanese (and French), and nothing worked.  It still immediately terminates.  I am now running on 10.14.3, and still having the same problem.  It is strange, because when I was running PlayOnMac version (I think, but could be wrong) 4.3.2, it worked, even with Japanese system language.  but now it is failing on 4.3.4, and I do not see any way of changing back to the previous version.  Can someone help me find a previous version?

@jystyce Please also send debug info from your terminal. It might give me a clue

I'm afraid I am unsure of how to run it from Terminal and get anything when I'm running the binary, rather than compiling.  And when I went into the Console to check, there were 39 messages (most of them errors).  I was able to revert to 4.2.12 by searching on Archive.org and locating the older version.  That version is functioning properly on my computer.  It is just 4.3.4 that fails to open.

If it will help people solve problems with bugs, then I can keep this version and offer up as much Console info as I can.  Otherwise, regression to 4.2.12 worked for me.

Don't worry, we will debug that out.

Open Terminal.app, and try /Applications/PlayOnMac.app/Contents/MacOS/playonmac

Copy and paste output here

Cool! What is your system language?

Right now, it is in Japanese.  When I tried setting it in English and French, it had the same problem.  I do not know if the debug messages are the same in every system language.
